Subject: *** GWENT POLICE HORSEWATCH *** Gwent Police Incident 209 06/05/09 A two week old, eighteen inch high, brown/tan minature Shetland pony with black mane and tail removed from a field on a farm in the Llantilio Crossenny area between Monmouth and Abergavenny. Posts and fencing moved to facilitate this theft. There are great concern for the welfare of this pony due to it's age. |

Posted on A1 SHETNEWS Sadly this afternoon Chippy was found dead. He was dumped in a field not far, from where he was stolen from his Dam. We are totally devastated by what has happened, very angry too. To think someone stole him maybe for a pet we don't know, and suppose we will never know. If they couldn't get him to feed why didn't they return to the field not leave him to die. "DISGUSTING" Just two weeks old, what a waste. We would like to thank everyone who has contacted us, also thank you Gerry for added it to the news page. Yvette. |
