Hello
I am new, found the forum through saddle up. I just joined because I had a couple of ideas and didn't know whether to post them here or on saddle up.
Here are my ideas :
1. A fantasy equestrian type thingy for the olympics, pay a £1 and make up a team or individual for the equestrian sports
2. A judged video dressage testpay a sum and get someone well known to judge your horse and suggest improvements.
Hope the ideas are of some use.
Chris

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum.
Idea two may be good - could Interdressage possibly get involved in that one???
The fundraising gang will know more about this kind of thing than me lol.
Welcome again and we look forward to getting to know you. Do tell us all a bit about yourself _________________ ~My heart~My soul~My life~

I thought I had replied but I can't see my own post so apologies if it appears somewhere else.
I am from North Wales originally and have had horses and ponies for about 75% of my life. The first was bought in 1973 at Menai Bridge horse sale. They used to halterbreak ponies off the mountain, back them and stick a kid on and sell them as broken. I soon got bucked off when I got home - ignorance was bliss.
I have lived all over the place, six years in Amsterdam resulted in my standing joke - I came back with an English TB flat racehorse instead of a Dutch WB. That was 14 years ago and I still have Charlie. He is barefoot - long story, but he just couldn't take shoes anymore, this led to me trimming him and I have just been accepted to do a hoof trimming course to become qualified.
I recently bought Blue an ex jump racer from a dealer, he has been passed around a lot,and has bad feet, sore back and fell over in the wet yesterday which I am a bit upset about today.
I also have 2 cats,Bonnie and Clyde who are 16,Charlie is 21 and Blue 12.
I work full time and life is quite busy and will get worse when I start my trimming course
That's about it!
