Not horse related but I could do with some advice.

I am off to a family wedding next wk end in Prague and can not decide what to wear. Money has been tight as expensive enough going to the wedding so I have not got an new outfit.

I have a beautifull black chiffon and silk dress that was very expensive and only worn twice, it is long and floating with a cowl kneck. I have a fitted dark pink jacket and matching handmade silk bag and also I have purchased a feather hair accesoory to match. Is it ok to wear a black dress to a wedding with the pink and accessories? It is very modern wedding and a dance in the evening, so I can wear my black dress for the evening party as well.

I do have other flowery dresses, but all have been worn to family things before. Wellies and jods would not go down well at this event
I love dressing up and adore this dress.
Thanks.

in a word...Yes! it's very acceptable...go for it....you'll look great and  the pink will take the sober look away from the black anyway... razz it up with some pink bracelets/necklace...brill..

can't see why not, isn't like you're going dressed to say 'don't do it'

we went to ed's grandad's funeral and were told specifically NO black, now that was interesting
